The variety was obtained via classical breeding by crossing the Fiskeby V variety with line 11. It belongs to early or very early varieties; the growing period is from 117 to 156 days. The variety is indifferent to photoperiod, which facilitates its development in temperate climate conditions.

The plant possesses lodging resistance. Yield under experimental conditions varies from 0.6 to 2.6 t/ha depending on temperature regime and amount of precipitation. Crude protein content in seeds in terms of dry matter is about 34.5%.
