The plant reaches a height of 80–90 cm, has a compact bush, elliptical leaves, and purple flowers. The pods are light brown with grey pubescence and are attached at a height of 10–15 cm from the soil surface. The seeds are yellow, spherical in shape with a brown hilum; the thousand kernel weight is 145–170 g.

The variety possesses relatively high resistance to pod shattering. The crude protein content in the grain ranges from 39.4 to 40.6%, and the crude fat content is 18.6–19.9%. The yield reaches 1.6 t/ha without irrigation and 3.5 t/ha with irrigation.
