The soybean variety named «Діана» is mentioned in scientific papers as one of the initial components in breeding; in particular, it was used in the development of the soybean variety «Каприз» via crossing with the variety «Бистриця 2».

Data on the agronomic and morphological characteristics of the variety are presented fragmentarily. Only one quantitative value for product quality has been recorded: the linoleic acid content in the seeds of this variety is 49.5%.
