The variety was created at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (Novi Sad, Serbia) using the single seed descent method. The variety is intended for use in agricultural production.

In comparative trials, the protein and oil content in Diva seeds were lower than those of the Afrodita and Galina varieties. Yield in field studies was recorded at a level lower than that of the Proteinka, Irina, or Becejka varieties. Detailed morphological characteristics and data on disease resistance are not described.
