The variety is intended for cultivation for grain, fodder, and food purposes, and is also recommended for use in mixed crops with mid-early and mid-maturing maize hybrids. Under production conditions, the crop yield is 3.0–3.6 t/ha.

The chemical composition of the grain is characterized by a fat content of about 21.0% and protein in the range of 26.0–41.0%. The variety is distinguished by drought tolerance and high resistance to diseases.
