The Majesta soybean variety is a product of the breeding activities of Semences Prograin Inc. In scientific research, it is noted as a sample with low susceptibility to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum or white mold.

The variety is used in experimental work as a parental form when studying such quantitative traits as plant height and maturity period. The variety is also involved in research aimed at studying the production processes of processed products, including tofu and soy milk.
