The NAV555 variety is a value-added genotype, the key feature of which is a significant reduction in the levels of raffinose, verbascose, and stachyose in the seeds. Studies confirm that the levels of raffinose and verbascose fall below the limit of quantification.

In addition to its unique carbohydrate profile, the variety possesses good indicators for seed size, test weight, and high protein content. During comparative trials in Northern Italy, the variety demonstrated above-average productivity compared to the tested control genotypes.
