The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group (group I, sometimes labeled 0-I). Its development took place between 1983 and 2000 as part of a planned breeding program.

Breeding of the variety was oriented toward ensuring stable production, achieving high yield, and developing resistance to lodging and pod shattering. Quantitative morphological indicators and precise data on resistance to specific pathogens are absent in open sources.
