The variety has an upright branching type, large leaves with a medium degree of blistering, and a strong intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the hypocotyl. The color of the seed hilum is yellow.
The plant possesses tolerance to Phytophthora root rot and is capable of maintaining high indicators of biomass accumulation and pod number under moisture deficit conditions. In studies, susceptibility to aphid damage was noted when compared with certain other varieties.
