The «Ruby» variety has a growing season of 85–90 days. Plant height is 80–110 cm, lower pods are attached at a height of 15–18 cm from the ground.

The grain of the variety is large, yellow in color, protein content reaches about 43%. Yield potential is estimated at up to 65 c/ha. The plant is characterized by high drought and cold tolerance, as well as increased resistance to diseases, in particular to Ascochyta.
