The variety was developed at the Institute of Feeds and Agriculture of Podillia of the NAAS of Ukraine. It is used in scientific research as an object for studying productivity, the influence of agrotechnologies, and seed quality, in particular indicators of moisture content, germination energy, and field emergence.

Under field trial conditions in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, grain yield was approximately 2.78 t/ha. Seed germination energy reaches 74.6%. The variety is considered primarily in the context of increasing nutritional value and crop productivity.
