The variety was obtained by crossing the Almas and Bahia lines with subsequent pedigree selection. It belongs to maturity group 0. The plants have medium-low growth, purple flowers, tawny pubescence, and medium-green ovate-acuminate leaves.

The light-brown pods contain yellow seeds of a spherical-flattened shape with a yellow hilum; the thousand kernel weight is 150–170 grams. The variety has high lodging resistance, good resistance to fungal diseases, and is characterized by a medium protein content.
