The variety was obtained by crossing lines OX232 and Harovinton. The plant has an indeterminate growth type, an erect habit, and grey stem pubescence. The leaves are medium to dark green, and the flowers are purple.
The pods are yellow-brown. The seeds are large, flattened-spherical in shape, with a dull yellow seed coat and a small yellow hilum. The variety is characterized by high peroxidase activity in the seed coat and resistance to soybean mosaic virus.
