The soybean variety Uruz belongs to the early maturity group and is intended for grain use. The plant is suitable for cultivation in Steppe conditions.

In scientific publications, the variety is mentioned within the framework of comparative studies aimed at examining yield and seed quality of soybeans in various soil and climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe and Forest-Steppe.
