Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a transgenic version of DeltaOpal obtained by crossing with a donor line to introduce the insect resistance genes Cry1Ac and CryIIA. There are modifications with Bollgard technologies for protection against Lepidoptera pests and Roundup Ready for glyphosate resistance.

The plant has a palmate leaf shape, a cylindrical bush shape, and cream-colored petals. The variety exhibits resistance to bacterial blight and is characterized by earlier boll opening and a shortened vegetation cycle compared to the original DeltaOpal variety.

The variety's production demonstrates good fiber turnout and stable yields under irrigation conditions. In agricultural practice, Nuopal is often used as a reference sample when comparing the effectiveness of various transgenic plant protection technologies.
