The variety was obtained by crossing line 268 (hybrid Garant × Progress) with the variety Deltapine 20. The genetic basis of the variety also involves lines of the species G. hirsutum L. and G. barbadense L. The plant forms a bush of moderate height.

The variety is distinguished by high fiber output and improved technological characteristics compared to the standard varieties Chirpan-539 and Avangard-264. Due to its high genetic potential, the variety is used in breeding programs, including work with male sterility.
