The variety was obtained by specialists from the Field Crops Institute in Chirpan using gamma irradiation, ultrasound exposure, and chemical mutagens. The plant is intended for cotton fiber production and is included in industry catalogs of agricultural crops.

The variety is characterized by productivity exceeding standard indicators and is used in research programs dedicated to studying the response of cotton to foliar herbicide treatment.
