The variety is intended for fiber production. Studies note its resistance to Verticillium wilt and aphids, which is attributed to the leaf pubescence characteristics that impede pest feeding.

The fiber turnout for this variety is over 40%. Within agronomic trials, fiber quality parameters were studied, including length, strength, and uniformity, as well as plant morphological characteristics, such as boll depth.
