The variety "Solera" is included in international guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability of cotton varieties. It is used as a reference variety when describing morphological characteristics of the plant.
The morphological characteristics of the variety include a whitish pollen color and medium yellow petals. Other agronomic characteristics, including fiber quality indicators, plant height, or data on its maturity, are not presented in the publications.
