ST132 is an early-maturing cotton variety with a moderately determinate plant growth habit. It was actively used in agricultural production and scientific research, and also served as a parent line in the breeding of other varieties.

The fiber quality of this variety is characterized by a length of approximately 1 1/16 inches. The variety also served as an object of study in experiments on the effect of agrotechnologies on seed indicators, including moisture, fat, protein, and fiber content, and was frequently used as a control sample in field trials.
