The variety is a result of breeding work at the Soroksár Botanical Garden. The leaf shape of the plant represents a transitional stage between the juvenile and adult stages of development.

The plant is characterized by frost resistance, drought tolerance, and disease resistance. It is recommended for cultivation in containers, landscaping slopes, and use in rock gardens.
