The plant is an evergreen climbing shrub. Juvenile leaves have a rounded shape, light green color, and a wavy, curly, serrated margin. Mature leaves become dark green, matte, have pointed lobes, and lose their characteristic curliness.
The variety is low-maintenance and resistant to diseases. It is recommended for cultivation in shaded or partially shaded areas. It is used as an ornamental groundcover plant, as well as for landscaping walls, pergolas, and tree trunks.
