The plant possesses genetic resistance to broomrape races A–G. Resistance to downy mildew is ensured by the presence of genes PL5 and PL9; tolerance to phomopsis and macrophomina is also noted. The produce is distinguished by a high oil content.
The recommended sowing density is 47–52 thousand plants per hectare under conditions of insufficient moisture and 55–60 thousand plants per hectare with a sufficient level of moisture.
