The line "Kh 1814 V" (or "Х 1814 В") is classified as a pollen fertility restorer. In breeding work, this line is used as a parental component.

The plant belongs to the group of short-stature forms with a short stem. The line possesses resistance to Orobanche cumana, specifically to race F: during tests on infested plots, no more than one parasite tubercle was observed on the plants.
