The line is a maintainer of male sterility of the linoleic type. It was developed by the inbreeding method from the hybrid combination Kh 1008 B / Kh 1010 B.

The primary purpose of the line is use in sunflower breeding, in particular for the creation of hybrids characterized by a high oleic acid content in the oil. This material is intended for professional breeding activities and not for commercial planting.
