The sunflower hybrid "СИ Марвин" is entered in state registers of varieties. There are mentions of this hybrid as a high-oleic product, however, information about the breeders in various sources is often contradictory.
Direct documentary evidence that this variety was bred by a team of breeders including A. I. Solomenko, Yu. O. Pariy, O. S. Breus, and others has not been found in open publications. The name "Marvin" may also refer to hybrids of other agricultural crops, in particular to sugar beet.
