Prontosol is a simple sunflower hybrid. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to adverse weather factors, including drought and heat, and is also resistant to lodging.
Regarding diseases, the hybrid possesses resistance to Phomopsis, medium tolerance to Phoma stem canker, and medium resistance to downy mildew. At the same time, susceptibility of the plant to broomrape is noted. The hybrid also possesses good resistance to the effects of tribenuron-methyl-based herbicides.
