The Skh 588 A line is used as a female component in sunflower hybrid breeding. In particular, the "Fenomen" hybrid was created based on it in combination with the Kh 201 V line.

It is characterized by leaf surface area; the thousand kernel weight is 45.8 g. Trials of the hybrid combination involving this line in 2015 showed a yield of 3.40 t/ha, which exceeded the control indicators.
