This line combination is registered as a parent component used in breeding work to develop hybrids. The Skh 808 A line possesses high combining ability and transmits traits related to seed yield and thousand kernel weight to its progeny.

Hybrid combinations created using the Skh 808 A line are characterized by adaptability and resistance to diseases, in particular to broomrape (Orobanche cumana Wallr.). The yield indicators of hybrids obtained with this component are more than 2.5–3.2 t/ha.
