The line is used exclusively as a maternal component in sunflower breeding. This genetic material serves for the development of hybrids with improved characteristics.

Scientific data indicate a low degree of phomopsis infection in the line, which allows it to be used as a parental component when creating hybrid forms resistant to this pathogen. Detailed morphological characteristics are not presented in open publications.
