The plant is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Helleborus niger and Helleborus x hybridus, also known as Helleborus x lemperii. The variety has an upright, dense, bush-like habit and moderate growth vigor.
The flowers of the variety have a purple-red color. The foliage is dark green, adorned with lighter veining. The plant is noted for abundant flowering and is intended for planting in open ground or for container cultivation.
