Variety description

The plant is a hybrid of Helleborus niger × Helleborus × hybridus. It forms a dense mound about 30 cm tall and up to 45 cm wide. Leaves are leathery, dark green with lighter veins and serrated edges.
Flowers are about 9 cm in diameter, cup-shaped, and face outward. The color changes during flowering from deep purple to soft pink with a darker rim. Flowering begins in November; the variety is characterized by sturdy flower stalks and high winter hardiness.
The plant is suitable for container cultivation and planting in semi-shaded areas of the garden. It contains substances that can cause skin allergic reactions.
