The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Helleborus × lemperii, obtained by crossing Helleborus niger and Helleborus hybridus. The plant forms an upright or slightly spreading bush with sturdy flower stalks on which large, upward-facing flowers are located.
The plant possesses high decorative value and is characterized by a vigorous growth type. The variety is suitable for planting in open ground and container gardening. It is winter-hardy, resistant to rain, wind, and cold, and prefers locations with light shading.
