The variety is a hybrid of Helleborus niger and Helleborus lividus. It is a herbaceous, evergreen plant with an upright growth habit and a compact bush form.
The foliage is dark green with silvery veining. The flowers are creamy white, turning a greenish hue as they fade, face outwards, and measure approximately 7.5 cm in diameter.
The variety is an early bloomer, with the flowering period occurring in late winter to spring. It possesses USDA zone 5 winter hardiness and foliage resistance to diseases.
