Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Helleborus niger and Helleborus × sternii. The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm, possessing leathery, palmate-lobed leaves of a grey-green color with a serrated edge.
Flowering occurs in the winter-spring period, predominantly in January. The flowers are large, cup-shaped, with a diameter of 5.5–6 cm, and have a pure white color with a slight greenish tint.
The variety possesses winter hardiness of USDA zones 5–6, prefers partial shade and moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils. The plant is toxic if ingested and is used in open field or container cultivation.
