The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Helleborus niger × Helleborus argutifolius. Research on this variety is connected with the development of technologies for its in vitro micropropagation for the mass production of high-quality planting material.
The plant belongs to a group of hybrids with an early or long flowering period, occurring in the interval from December to March. The average height of the bush is 35–40 cm. The variety is evergreen and suitable for use as a garden crop, a potted plant, or for cut flowers.
