The plant forms an upright bush 35–40 cm in height and up to 45 cm in width. The leaves are leathery, evergreen, and have a grayish-green shade.

The flowers are large, directed upwards or outwards. The flowering period begins in late winter and continues until April. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and is a long-flowering hybrid.
