Variety description

The Sid Ice cultivar belongs to the Helleborus × nigercors hybrid group. The plant reaches a height of about 38–45 cm and quickly forms a wide clump. Visually, the cultivar inherits traits from its parent species: a robust structure, serrated divided leaves, and large, long-lasting flowers.
The flowering period occurs during the winter months from December to March. The plant is characterized by good cold hardiness and marked resistance to powdery mildew. It is used as an ornamental garden crop.
