Variety description

The variety is a sport of Heuchera 'Whirlwind'. The leaves are strongly ruffled; in spring they have a golden-amber color, which darkens to amber-orange shades by summer. The underside of the leaf blade is colored a soft lilac. In shaded conditions, the foliage color may acquire a greenish undertone.

The plant is compact; the height of the foliage is 20–30 cm, reaching 35–40 cm with flower stalks, with a bush width of 35–45 cm. Small flowers of a cream or light pink shade are gathered in paniculate inflorescences. Flowering occurs in the second half of spring and summer.

Heuchera belongs to evergreen perennials; winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 4–9. The crop prefers well-drained soils, as it is sensitive to root system rot. When grown in bright sun, there is a risk of leaf scorch, so partial shade is recommended.
