Variety description

The plant forms a dense compact rosette 25–30 cm tall; flower stalks reach 60–74 cm. The leaf blade is rounded, seven-lobed, colored in a dark purple, almost black or chocolate color. The leaf surface is decorated with bright pink spots, the size of which increases as it grows, and the color changes to cream by summer and autumn.

Flowering occurs in June–August. Small bell-shaped flowers of a cream-white or pale pink shade are gathered in paniculate inflorescences. The variety is distinguished by winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9, withstanding frosts down to -34°C. The plant develops well in sun and partial shade, prefers drained soils.

This variety is a random mutation of Heuchera «Obsidian». It is used in landscape design for decorating flower beds, alpine rock gardens, and container gardening.
