Variety description

The height of the leaf rosette is 25–30 cm, and with flower stalks, the plant reaches 40–60 cm. The leaves are lobed, semi-glossy, and almost black in color with characteristic speckles. Small cream-white flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences and appear from late spring to mid-summer.

The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9. The variety shows resistance to most garden pests and diseases, however, it requires monitoring for powdery mildew and rust under high humidity conditions. The ornamental quality of the foliage is maintained from April to November.

It is used in landscape design for forming borders and mass plantings, in container gardening, and as an accent plant in mixed borders.
