Variety description

The plant forms a dense basal rosette 20 to 50 cm high and up to 70 cm wide; flower stalks reach 40–100 cm. The leaves are large, fuzzy to the touch. The coloration changes seasonally: from a reddish-copper shade in spring to amber-caramel in summer; the underside of the leaf is colored pinkish-purple.

Small creamy-white flowers are gathered in airy paniculate inflorescences; the flowering period lasts from late spring to mid–late summer. The variety is winter-hardy, adapted to USDA zones 3–9, and tolerates partial shade well. Used in group plantings, mixed borders, rock gardens, and container gardening.
