Variety description

The plant has a compact form and reaches up to 40 cm in width. The leaves are velvety, triangular, lobed, and serrated. Their color changes throughout the season: upon opening, the leaves are greenish-yellow, later acquiring a red-violet or wine-red color with a thin yellow border along the edge.
The flowers are pink, small, bell-shaped, and gathered in loose paniculate inflorescences on flower stalks up to 45 cm tall. The flowering period lasts from June to August. The variety is frost-resistant (USDA zone 4), suitable for cutting, and grows in partial shade on well-drained soils.
The plant grows rapidly, however, with age, its rhizome tends to become exposed, which requires regular mulching or transplanting. The variety may be affected by weevils, leaf nematodes, and viral diseases.
