Variety description

The plant forms a compact basal rosette 15–20 cm high, reaching 20–40 cm with flower stalks. The leaves are deeply dissected, maple-shaped, green in color with a characteristic chocolate-brown pattern in the center.

Flowering is abundant in late spring — early summer. Small star-shaped flowers of a bright pink shade are gathered in dense paniculate inflorescences. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zones 4–8), resistant to pests and diseases, but is sensitive to waterlogging and frost heaving of the soil.
