Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant forms a compact and dense mound 20 to 40 cm tall. The main ornamental element is the lime-yellow leaves with blood-red veins. The color is at its brightest in spring; in summer, the leaves may turn green, and in autumn, they become saturated again.

In late spring and early summer, the plant produces thin flower stalks with small white or pinkish flowers. The variety is winter hardy for zones 4-5. The foliage is sensitive to direct midday sun and soil drying, so areas with partial shading are preferred for cultivation.

The plant is used for the foreground of borders, mixed borders, rock gardens, container gardening, and as a ground cover crop.
