Variety description

The flowers of the variety are large and single. In the Boreas White variety, the petals are white or creamy-white with a cherry-crimson center; in Boreas Yellow, they are light yellow with a deep red center surrounded by a white ring. The lime-green buds rise high above the dense foliage, which is heart-shaped or oblong-ovate with a serrated edge.

The plant reaches a height of 50–60 cm with compact shaping, but can grow taller when grown in tubs. Individual flowers persist on the bush for 3 to 6 days, and the overall blooming is prolonged. The variety prefers a sunny location, possesses improved branching, and is suitable for keeping in open ground in regions with a mild climate.
