The variety forms flat-shaped flowers. Usually four flowers develop on one peduncle. The petal coloration is characterized by a rich dark-red tone, complemented by darker veining.

The peduncles have a pale coloration, which creates a visual contrast with the dark petals. A characteristic detail of the flower is the yellow anthers.
