The variety belongs to the Galaxy group and is distinguished by large flowers 15–25 cm in diameter with a velvety petal texture. The coloration is deep red, complemented by white streaks, speckles, or a central 'star'.

The plant forms a strong, straight flower stalk 45 to 100 cm in height, which typically bears 4–6 flowers. The variety is early-flowering, blooms 6–8 weeks after bulb planting, and requires an obligatory dormancy period for subsequent flowering.
