The plant forms large funnel-shaped flowers with a silky texture of the petals in a saturated purple-red shade. On a strong, upright, gray-green flower stalk, usually 3 to 6 flowers are formed. An adult plant reaches a height of 50–60 cm.

The variety is suitable for indoor cultivation and for use as cut flower production. Flowering begins 6–8 weeks after planting the bulbs. The crop is sensitive to waterlogging, which provokes bulb rot, and is susceptible to mosaic virus.
