The variety belongs to the Cybister group, obtained by crossing natural species from South America. The flowers have an exotic shape with narrow pointed petals of a coral-red, red-brown, or orange-red shade and long protruding white stamens.

Flowering occurs 8–10 weeks after planting, with flowers on the flower stalk opening not simultaneously. The bulbs of the variety are distinguished by a long neck. The plant is characterized by resistance to Verticillium wilt and in warm climates may exhibit evergreen traits.
